As you may already know you are very welcome to bring your dog with you to Budds Barns.

There is a small additional charge, dependent on the length of your stay, and we normally accept a maximum of 2 dogs per cottage.

We strive to be as dog friendly as possible, and one of the questions we get most asked by dog owners is whether our cottage gardens are enclosed and secure. 

As the owner of a Beagle with an occasional mind of his own, I know how important it is to be reassured that your dog is safe, particularly in new surroundings.

Thats why all three of our cottages have their own private enclosed garden with a gate. As you can see from the picture we've been renovating the panels and gates after the winter storms for the new season.

There are loads of walks to enjoy around the area. The brilliant dog friendly beach at Widemouth Bay is just 5 minutes drive away, as is the end of the Bude Canal in Marhamchuirch from where you can walk into town. But there are so many to choose from , you are really spoilt for choice.

We also welcome other pets – our guests have included cats, rabbits and ferrets! Please check when booking.
