The local area

Titson is very close to Bude just 10 minutes by car. This famous seaside town has a golf course, swimming pool and leisure centre, the historic Bude Canal, and outstanding beaches for surfing and family days.

Titson itself is a small hamlet. The closest village of Marhamchurch has an outstanding pub, the Bullers Arms, which hosts an annual beer festival. The nearby village of Whitstone has an excellent village store and post office specialising in local produce.

North Cornwall’s wonderful coastline is only a few minutes drive away. Our closest beach is Widmouth Bay, our favourite is Crackington Haven where you can watch the sun set from the Coombe Barton Inn.

Nearby towns include Holsworthy, Bideford and Launceston, the ancient capital of the Duchy of Cornwall.

You are ideally located to explore and enjoy some of the finest attractions of North Cornwall and Devon, all within easy reach, including Boscastle, Padstow and many more ‘secret’ hideaways of this beautiful coastline.

Local Services

Our nearest supermarkets are in Bude, where you will find Morrisons, Sainsburys, and the Coop. Tesco are in Launceston, and Waitrose are in Holsworthy.

If you want to avoid the supermarket crush, Asda and Waitrose both offer a home delivery service, as does the village store at Whitstone which is splendid without being expensive.

Walking and Cycling

A major project is underway to provide more dedicated cycle routes from Bude details of which can be found at The Atlantic Trail.

If you want to ride the Camel Trail we reccomend Bridge Bike Hire who are always obliging and helpful.

The Moors of BodminDartmoor and Exmoor
